BREAKING: Sources are telling journalists that Trump is planning a massive four-mile-long military parade through the streets of Washington, D.C. on his birthday—under the pretext of honoring the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army.

This isn’t about patriotism. It’s about power. This is how dictators celebrate themselves. Tanks, armored vehicles, missile displays, flyovers—this is authoritarianism flexing its power.

We cannot allow Donald Trump to turn the Capitol into a backdrop for authoritarian pageantry – and because of the millions it’d cost, Congress has a say. Tell Congress: Stop Trump’s military parade. Block funding. Deny permits. Raise hell.
In 2019, Trump spent millions rerouting Pentagon money to stage his “Salute to America,” featuring tanks and fighter jets and VIP bleachers for political donors. Now he wants to go bigger—and he’s chosen his birthday as the centerpiece.
This isn’t just vanity. It’s propaganda.
In authoritarian regimes from Russia to North Korea, military parades aren’t celebrations—they’re threats. They tell the public, “We have the weapons. We have the power. Obey.”That’s what Trump is trying to do in our name.
In 2018, Trump was forced to cancel due to the enormous cost and the public outcry because, despite what he thinks, Trump can’t do this on his own. Congress can block funding. D.C. officials can refuse permits. Pentagon leaders can refuse the outrageous misuse of military might. And if we make enough noise, they will.
Tell Congress: No tanks on Trump’s birthday. No military parade for would-be dictators.
This isn’t just about stopping a parade. It’s about stopping a movement toward fascism that’s getting louder, bolder, and more dangerous by the day. If we let this happen without a fight, we normalize it—and normalization is how democracies die.
